“We’re Everywhere, My Love” Campaign in Solidarity with the LGBTI+ Community in Türkiye: Action Guidelines for October 11-12, 2026
October 12 marks one month since our friends were deprived of their liberty as part of the operations against the LGBTI+ community and movement in Türkiye. One month later, they remain behind bars, while the broader pressure on LGBTI+ communities and civil society continues. For this reason, we are calling for renewed international solidarity on October 12.
We also know that Monday may not be the most suitable day for organising a public action in every city. If holding an action on Sunday would allow you to gather more people, reach a wider public or organise a stronger action in your own context, we warmly invite you to take action on Sunday, October 11 instead. Actions organised on either October 11 or October 12 will be part of the same international solidarity mobilisation.
If you are an LGBTI+ group outside of Türkiye:
Organise a protest or solidarity action on Sunday, October 11 or Monday, October 12.
We leave the form of action entirely to you: choose whatever works best in your local context to build pressure on the Turkish government, encourage action from your own government and the international community, raise awareness about the situation in Türkiye and strengthen solidarity with those affected.
Where possible, we encourage actions in visible and politically relevant locations, including in front of Turkish embassies and consulates, national parliaments, or institutions of the EU, Council of Europe and UN.
Make the demand for freedom visible. October 12 marks one month since our friends were deprived of their liberty. We want this date to carry a clear message: one month is already too long.
Take photographs and short videos of your action and send them to us at ozgurlukistiyoruzkampanyagrubu@gmail.com. If you organise your action on October 11, you can send the materials to us that day so that we can include them in the collective mobilisation on October 12.

Use the hashtags #HerYerdeyizAşkım and #Özgürlüİstiyoruz. We will feature the content on the campaign account’s stories.
